At Groceryshop 2025, MUSE won the Judges’ Choice award in the Shark Reef Startup Pitch competition. This year, the company plans to demonstrate multiple Armo store robots equipped with transport and shelf-scanning units at a dedicated booth. Videos and presentations will also feature Armo deployments in US stores and explain specific use cases.

This will be MUSE’s first appearance at Gather California, which brings together California’s grocery industry. Through both events, the company will demonstrate how Armo supports store efficiency and sales growth while strengthening relationships with retailers and industry partners across California.

■ Groceryshop 2026 — Building on Last Year’s Award with US Deployment Examples

Groceryshop is an international event bringing together leaders from grocery, convenience, consumer packaged goods, food and beverage, household products, health and wellness, and other sectors serving everyday shopping needs. In 2026, approximately 4,000 leaders from more than 50 countries are expected to attend to discuss business strategy and new opportunities for collaboration across retail and consumer goods.

Building on last year’s pitch competition win, MUSE will highlight the value Armo brings to retail stores through US deployment examples and live demonstrations of its multipurpose store robot. Attendees will be able to see the robots in action, watch videos of store operations, and speak with the team about practical applications.

■ Planned Exhibit Highlights

  1. Transport Unit — Streamlining Replenishment and Reducing Associate Workload

Armo transports merchandise between the stockroom and the sales floor, supporting shelf replenishment and in-store picking for online grocery orders. The demonstration will show how robots can take on repetitive transport tasks to reduce the physical demands on store associates and improve operational efficiency.

  2. Shelf-Scanning Unit — Improving Shelf Visibility and Store Efficiency

Armo moves through the store, capturing shelf images and collecting data on shelf conditions. The demonstration will show how the robot supports shelf management tasks, including out-of-stock checks, to reduce associate workload and help minimize lost sales opportunities.

  3. US Deployment Examples — Videos and Practical Use Cases

Videos and presentations will feature Armo deployments in US retail stores. While showing the robot operating on the sales floor, the MUSE team will explain specific use cases, operating workflows, and the store tasks Armo supports. By combining live demonstrations with deployment examples, the company aims to help retailers envision how Armo could be used in their own stores.

■ Video Featuring Armo in a US Retail Store

MUSE is releasing a video of Armo’s deployment in a US retail store in conjunction with this announcement. The video shows the robot operating on the sales floor and illustrates how Armo is being used in US retail operations.

The video will also be shown at MUSE’s Groceryshop booth, where the team plans to explain specific use cases and operating workflows alongside live robot demonstrations.

■ Jointly Developed Robot at the Store of Tomorrow

MUSE plans to display a robot jointly developed with Toshiba Global Commerce Solutions, Inc. (TGCS) in the Store of Tomorrow area at Groceryshop, where TGCS will be exhibiting.

The Store of Tomorrow is an immersive exhibit where attendees can explore new retail technologies and solutions through a shopping experience.

The jointly developed robot will illustrate new opportunities to create value through robotics in retail media.

■ Gather California 2026 — Connecting with California Retailers

Gather California is the California Grocers Association’s annual event. It brings together retailers, brands, and suppliers doing business in California to share industry developments and build relationships through business meetings, educational sessions, and networking.

Through its first appearance at the event, MUSE aims to deepen its dialogue with local retailers, better understand their operational challenges and needs for robotics, and identify opportunities for Armo deployments and collaboration.

■ Expanding in the US Retail Market

MUSE supports retail profitability and the shopping experience through robotics that improve operational efficiency, enable in-store promotions, and make use of shelf data.

At both events, the company will engage with retailers, consumer brands, and industry partners to discuss the future of store operations. By sharing US deployment examples and exploring applications that address retailers’ needs, MUSE will continue to advance its business in the US retail market.

Visit MUSE at Groceryshop booth 1335. The team also looks forward to meeting attendees at Gather California.
