-First Appearance at Groceryshop 2025, One of the Largest Retail Tech Events in the U.S.-
Tokyo, Japan - MUSE Inc. (Headquarters: Chuo-ku, Tokyo; President & CEO: Yasutaka Kasagi) today announced that it will accelerate its expansion into the U.S. retail market. As a key milestone, the company will showcase its flagship multi-use store robot Armo for the first time at Groceryshop 2025, one of the world’s largest gatherings for retail and consumer goods innovation, taking place September 28 – October 1, 2025, at Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas.

At Groceryshop, MUSE will introduce Armo to the U.S. market, highlighting proven results from its deployment in leading Japanese retailers, including the major supermarket chain Belc, where the robot has already demonstrated measurable impact.
■ The Value of Armo in Addressing U.S. Retail Challenges
The U.S. retail industry is facing significant operational challenges, including rising labor costs, worker shortages in tasks such as order picking due to the rapid growth of e-commerce, and increasing demand for automation and data-driven solutions powered by AI and robotics.
Existing retail robots, however, are often limited to single-use cases, such as shelf scanning or cleaning, and come at a high cost.
By contrast, Armo delivers a broad range of value to retailers, including:
Labor Shortage Solutions & Cost Savings: A single robot supports multiple in-store operations such as restocking support, shelf inventory checks, and online order picking.
Sales & Marketing Support: Acts as an in-store promotional and customer engagement tool, enhancing the shopping experience and driving traffic.
Data-Driven Competitiveness: Efficiently collects and structures valuable in-store and shopper behavior data, enabling advanced analytics for sales and marketing teams.
Affordable & Practical Deployment: Offers more advanced functionality at a cost-effective price point compared to existing retail robots.
■ U.S. Market Expansion & Partnership Opportunities
MUSE established a local office in Texas in 2024 and has been building its U.S. operations alongside retail industry veterans. With its debut at Groceryshop 2025, MUSE is actively seeking partners to expand Armo’s adoption in the U.S. retail sector.
