MUSE, Inc. (Headquarters: Chuo-ku, Tokyo; CEO: Yasutaka Kasagi; hereinafter "MUSE") is pleased to announce its participation in the NRF 2026 Retail’s Big Show, the world's largest retail industry event, which will be held at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center in New York, USA, from Sunday, January 11 to Tuesday, January 13, 2026.
At this exhibition, MUSE will introduce the latest evolution of its multi-use store robot, "Armo", which has already demonstrated effectiveness in retail stores in Japan. MUSE aims to accelerate its full-scale business expansion in the US market.
Key Exhibits at NRF 2026
At the MUSE booth, we will conduct demonstrations that allow visitors to experience the unlimited possibilities Armo provides through its various modular units. Armo's combination of high functionality and cost-effectiveness addresses the challenges of labor shortages and rising costs faced by US retail sites.

Stocking and Transport Support: Efficient stocking and picking support for online grocery orders, reducing staff physical burdens.
Shelf Image Capture & Data Collection: High-precision detection of out-of-stock items, misplacements, and price discrepancies.
Joint Project with KDDI Corporation
We will introduce the progress of our joint development efforts with KDDI Corporation regarding shelf display robots and shelf image analysis technology. This collaboration with a major telecommunications company demonstrates the potential for stable robot operation and the utilization of communication infrastructure, such as AI data centers.
Contribution to the US Retail Market and Future Outlook
MUSE won the Judges' Award in the "Shark Reef Startup Pitch" competition at Groceryshop 2025 , the largest retail tech exhibition in the US held in September 2025. This recognition attests to Armo's innovation, practicality, and high potential for expansion in the US retail market.
Building on this achievement, MUSE will accelerate the promotion of retail store automation, staff burden reduction, and competitiveness enhancement through data utilization, centering on its local base established in Texas, USA, in collaboration with US retail companies.
